POS Terminal Overview

The FlexotiumPOS terminal is the front-line tool for every sale. It's designed to be fast, focused, and fully capable even when the internet goes down.

Core capabilities

  • Offline-safe checkout — sales queue locally and sync when reconnected
  • Barcode scanning — any USB or Bluetooth HID scanner works instantly
  • Multiple payment types — cash, card (via Stripe), UPI, and split payments
  • Returns and refunds — process from the transaction history screen
  • Discount application — fixed amount or percentage, per-item or order-wide
  • Shift management — opening float, cash drops, reconciliation, and variance reporting

Hardware support

The terminal is browser-based, so it runs on any device with a modern browser.

Offline capability

The terminal caches up to 10,000 transactions locally. When offline:

  • All checkout and payment (cash) functions work normally
  • Card payments via Stripe are unavailable
  • AI Copilot and live reports are unavailable
  • Stock levels shown are the last synced values
