1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, business name), transaction data processed through the POS terminal, inventory and purchasing records, and usage analytics to improve the platform. We do not sell your data to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used to operate the FlexotiumPOS service, provide AI-powered insights and forecasting, send transactional emails (receipts, invoices, notifications), and improve platform features. All AI processing is policy-governed and tenant-isolated.
3. Data Isolation
Each merchant account (tenant) is logically isolated at the database level. Your business data is never shared with or visible to other merchants. AI models process your data only within your tenant boundary.
4. Data Retention
Transaction and operational data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to export your data. Audit logs are retained for 12 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
5. Data Portability
You own your data. You can export a complete copy of all your business data (transactions, products, customers, audit logs) at any time from the Portability settings. Exports are provided in JSON and CSV formats.
6. Third-Party Integrations
When you connect third-party integrations (Stripe, WhatsApp, accounting platforms), data is shared with those providers only as necessary to deliver the integration. Each provider's own privacy policy applies to data they receive.
7. Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and functional cookies to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics are collected in aggregate without personal identifiers.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access is controlled by role-based permissions. We conduct regular security reviews and maintain a responsible disclosure policy. Contact info@flexotiumpos.com to report security issues.
9. Your Rights
